TCM® Retrofit

CMS Retrofit

Future-proof your wind turbines with the latest condition monitoring technology.

Extending turbine lifetime

Extending the lifespan of ageing wind turbines is essential to making the global power supply more sustainable.

TCM® Retrofit revitalises wind turbines by equipping them with the latest turbine condition monitoring technology. Wind park owners and operators can now more accurately analyse wind turbine performance and extend the turbine’s lifetime through condition-based operations and maintenance.

Our retrofit solution provides yesterday's wind turbines with today's technology.

Key benefits of retrofitting your fleet

Easy-to-navigate dashboard

In our user-friendly Monitoring Portal, you have instant access and a centralised overview of KPIs and the overall health of your entire fleet of wind turbines.

Expert analysis

Our highly qualified vibration experts monitor your wind turbines and provide accurate turbine health indicators, profound insights and practical recommended actions.

Health indicators

The Health Indicators (HI) consist of a number and a colour expressing the probability of failure of the component. A low number signals a low likelihood of failure, and a high number signals a severe failure.

Enhancing cyber-security

Increase the cyber-resilience of your wind farm

Owners and operators with TCM® pre-installed can upgrade their existing solution to enable compliance, according to NERC CIP, IEC62443, NIST and NIS2, keeping cybercriminals at bay.

The Enhanced Cyber Security retrofit and upgrade utilises current operational technology (OT) design principles.

Including the Zero Trust security approach, the Purdue model for ICS security, and the Cisco principle, which enables secure management of the OT zone from the IT zone.

Case story:

Retrofitting before the end-of-warranty

Increase the cyber-resilience of your wind farm

New Zealand-based Meridian Energy retrofitted 29 turbines in New Zealand with TCM®, which allowed them to identify bearing damage before it became significant enough to cause secondary damage to the gearboxes.

Over eight months, Meridian identified faults that resulted in saving upfront costs of five gearboxes, amounting to a total cost savings of USD 2,690,000.
