KK Wind Solutions, acquires Gram & Juhl to further accelerate and strengthen its capabilities and offerings within digital solutions.
Gram & Juhl is an industry-leading supplier of condition monitoring solutions for wind turbines under the brand Turbine Condition Monitoring, TCM®. Building on more than 20 years of experience and having equipped +23,000 turbines worldwide, the company has cemented its position as a true pioneer within condition monitoring. Gram & Juhl delivers unique digital solutions for early failure detection of costly components such as gearboxes, main bearings and generators.

In the month to come, KK Wind Solutions will ensure a continued and consistent operation of Gram & Juhl, and carefully start integrating the company, making the transition as seamless as possible for both customers and employees. The two founders Axel Juhl and Klaus Gram-Hansen will continue in the company and support KK Wind Solutions in expanding the digital solutions area.

Gram & Juhl was founded in 1997 by Klaus Gram-Hansen and Axel Juhl, based on the founders’ core competencies within digital signal processing. Over the years this has evolved to advanced solutions for condition monitoring of wind turbines comprising electronics, firmware and large server software installations as well as monitoring and cloud services.
Employing more than 35 highly skilled people from their headquarter in Denmark, Gram & Juhl is also present in Germany and the US. Gram & Juhl delivers globally to OEM’s and utilities as Siemens Gamesa, MHI Vestas, Shanghai Electric, Ørsted, Vattenfall, Enel Green Power and many more.
The parties have agreed not to disclose the price or other terms of the acquisition which will be effective from October 1st, 2020.
