COO in KK Group, Chlinton Arendahl Nielsen takes over CEO position from Tommy Gundelund Jespersen.
Leading systems supplier of electrical solutions for the wind industry, KK Group, promotes COO Chlinton Arendahl Nielsen as new CEO as the successor after Tommy Gundelund Jespersen who continues as member of the Board of Directors in KK Group.
KK Group has experienced considerable growth since it was established in 1981. The company got new owners in the autumn of 2016 in connection with which Tommy Gundelund Jespersen and CFO Johnny Haahr exited the group of owners.
Chlinton Arendahl Nielsen (40), MSc. Engineering and MBA, has been the COO of KK Group since 2013 and will take the position as CEO of KK Group as of 1 May 2017.
Tommy Gundelund Jespersen and Johnny Haahr have since 2004 contributed to bringing KK Group from being a relatively small company in the middle of Jutland, Denmark to being a significant international company with a turnover of DKK 1.5 billion. Tommy Gundelund Jespersen leaves the company as of 1 May 2017 while Johnny Haahr leaves the company as of 1 July 2017. The search for a new CFO has been initiated.
In connection with the change of CEO, Tommy Gundelund Jespersen and Johnny Haahr express:

Likewise, the new CEO, Chlinton Arendahl Nielsen is pleased, yet humble towards the new job he has accepted.
“There is a strong and highly qualified organization and culture in KK Group which is important to nurture and keep. The existing strategy and plans will therefore remain unchanged,” he says.
The new CEO explains that all suppliers to the wind industry experiences continuous pressure to reduce costs however he still believe there is a large market potential for KK Group.
”Pressure on prices forces us to think alternatively. Going forward, KK Group will put even more focus on developing the next generation of technology and system solutions for wind turbines. This will happen together with increased focus on globalization and efficiency improvements by use of new digital technologies such as Industry 4.0 and robots in the factories,” says Chlinton Arendahl Nielsen.
